FAQ
-
No referral is required to book an appointment with our clinic. However, some extended health insurance plans may require a physician’s referral for reimbursement, so we recommend checking with your provider beforehand.
-
We ask for a credit card to secure your appointment and streamline your visit. Your card will only be charged after your appointment has been completed, and a receipt will be provided for your records or insurance submission.

Your pelvic health physiotherapist will begin by reviewing your medical history and taking the time to understand your current concerns, symptoms, and goals.
With your informed consent, a comprehensive physical assessment will then be completed to evaluate the muscles, joints, nerves, and connective tissues that may be contributing to your symptoms. Depending on your needs, this assessment may include both external and internal (vaginal and/or rectal) examinations to help identify factors related to your pelvic health concerns.
Following your assessment, your physiotherapist will develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to your specific symptoms, findings, and personal goals.

We do not currently offer direct billing. Following your appointment, we’ll provide you with a detailed receipt that you can submit to your extended health benefits provider for reimbursement. Most insurance companies make this process quick and easy through their online portal or app.

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Because we provide one-on-one care and dedicate this time specifically to your treatment, we ask that you contact us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows us enough time to offer the appointment to another patient who may be waiting for care. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours will incur a $50 cancellation fee, which will be automatically charged to the credit card on file.
